Hi Netlify team,
My site omarandayawedding.netlify.app has been completely inaccessible from Egypt since approximately June 25-26, 2026. All major Egyptian ISPs are affected (Telecom Egypt/WE, Vodafone, Orange).

Error: ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT
Region affected: Egypt (all ISPs)
Diagnostic details:
- DNS resolves correctly (63.176.8.218, 35.157.26.135)
- curl times out after 10s with exit code 28 (connection timeout)
- The site works perfectly via VPN (non-Egypt exit nodes)
- The Netlify dashboard (netlify.com) is accessible — only *.netlify.app is blocked
- No deployment errors or build failures on my end
- This is NOT a DNS resolution issue — it’s an IP/routing level block
Impact:
This is a wedding invitation website that has already been sent to hundreds of guests in Egypt. The wedding is on July 10, 2026, and guests cannot access the invitation or submit their RSVP. This is extremely time-sensitive.
What I’ve tried:
- Changing DNS to 1.1.1.1 / 8.8.8.8 — does not help (not a DNS block)
- Created a Cloudflare Worker proxy as a temporary workaround
- Confirmed the issue exists across multiple ISPs and devices in Egypt
Request:
- Can the site be routed through different edge nodes / IP ranges that are not blocked in Egypt?
- Is Netlify aware of this regional blocking and working on a resolution?
- Are there any server-side changes that can restore access for Egyptian users?
I’ve seen multiple reports from other Egyptian developers on this forum experiencing the same issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated given the time-sensitive nature of this.
