Hi @frontier12345,

Thanks for reaching out and welcome to Netlify’s Support Forums!

You’ll need to configure the A Record for to point to, and the CNAME Record should point to You can follow option 1, External DNS, from our Support Guide here:

Note we’re showing that the A Record is currently pointing to

host has address mail is handled by 0

With the CNAME Record currently pointing to

host is an alias for has address mail is handled by 0

Let us know if you have any questions.

i already have this pointed, here is the screenshot

@Melvin no propagation yet.

Hi @frontier12345,

Thanks for the follow-up.

I see that the you have the A Record configured and the CNAME Record configured and they have propagated:

host has address mail is handled by 0
host is an alias for has address has address has IPv6 address 2600:1f18:2489:8202::c8 has IPv6 address 2600:1f18:2489:8201::c8

However, I’m also seeing that you have a DNS Zone for, which is instead using name servers and not Netlify name servers:

dig NS +trace | tail -n 6
;; Received 679 bytes from in 28 ms	86400	IN	NS	86400	IN	NS
;; Received 98 bytes from in 10 ms

With Netlify, you’ll want to use either External DNS or Netlify DNS and not both at the same time.

The above dig command shows that the Netlify DNS Zone is inactive. You’ll either want to remove the DNS Zone if you’re not planning on using Netlify’s name servers or configure Netlify’s name servers and remove the A Record and CNAME Record for and

We have a Support Guide that explains inactive DNS Zones and how to fix them here:

We recommend reading through the guide to fix the inactive DNS Zone.
