  1. I am hosting on Netlify. The domain is via GSuite/Enom. My understanding is that in order to switch to Netlify DNS, I would also need to add all my host records & email settings. Is this correct?

  2. If so, I started adding some 1st before I add the DNS to make sure they are right. When I tried adding @ , #.#.#.# (the address), A, I got an error. I have seen that you need to let you know to delete it. How do we do this? Also, do we have to add what you deleted back as well?

There are already NETLIFY and/or NETLIFYv6 type DNS records for this domain name (the apex domain).

These records must be deleted before any A, AAAA, or CNAME records can be created for the same domain name. Only our support team can delete those records.
