I’m facing some challenges when i tried to connect my Netlify account to my GitHub account so that I can be able to upload a respository to my Netlify account. Each time i tried it says authorized but the page won’t close and when I check on Netlify in application area I won’t see any app being authorized. I spent 32 hours trying to find a solution still yet it doesn’t work out. I need help I’m currently using android phone.
@YhoungHemil If possible you should try on another device.
I will try that though my laptop isn’t with me now i wouldn’t try it out. But my question is that, why isn’t it possible for the Netlify environment variables to detect my Netlify serverless functions file inside my project folder, during manual upload. Because due to the failure of detecting my netlify/functions/fetchLuxury.js file that’s when i started trying alternative, still yet it fails.
I’m actually trying to call an API function from between my js and my Netlify serverless functions. That’s when i sent my environment variables which is my API secret but all attempts failed as well.
The screenshots above is how the structure of my files look
@YhoungHemil I don’t work for Netlify, (nor even host with them), so can’t really answer questions regarding the capabilities of their different deployment methods.
One thing I do know though is that they consider ‘Drag & Drop’ to be the “least-desirable and least-capable upload method”, so you should always use another method to ‘Create deploys’ if you can.
Netlify are unlikely to fix any shortcomings or issues that you encounter with ‘Drag & Drop’.
Note that Netlify’s systems are case sensitive too, your Netlify.toml
should be netlify.toml
