Domain locked to another team after account/email change — release required

Thank you for sorting the login. Following up with additional detail on this issue.

The domain:

is NOT currently using Netlify DNS — nameservers are still set to:

ns0.phase8.net

ns1.phase8.net

ns2.phase8.net

However, when attempting to add the domain to my project, Netlify returns:
everyreply.co.uk is already managed by Netlify DNS on another team”

For context, we recently had an issue with our Netlify account when we upgraded the email address linked to our Google Workspace login. This appears to have created a duplicate or mismatched account state.

I believe the domain is now associated with a previous or inaccessible team created during that process. I cannot locate the domain anywhere within my current account or teams.

Please can you:

  1. Identify which team currently has this domain attached

  2. Remove or release the domain from that team

  3. Allow me to attach it to my current project

Project:
ubiquitous-sunshine-8b0292

Happy to verify domain ownership if required.

Thanks,
Amanda

Hey @boofieboo ,
Thanks for reaching out!

We’ve gone ahead and created a support ticket for you, so our team can follow up with you directly via email from the help desk. Our Support crew will be in touch with you by email soon.

Great news: these days anyone can reach out to Netlify Support. First, you can try getting an answer using Ask Netlify, our helpful AI search tool. If your question isn’t answered there, you can submit a ticket using the support form, and we’ll take it from there.

We’re keeping the community around for swapping ideas, sharing tips and tricks, and talking shop with other folks building on the platform — but for support issues, tickets are the way to go.

Thanks for being here, and keep an eye out for that email from us!
