Hi Netlify Support,
I need help releasing the DNS zone for my domain estellediaromi.com from a previous Netlify account.
Situation:
- My current Netlify site: glittery-mochi-e0d732.netlify.app (Site ID: 892b67be-cd9f-4a6c-b024-a579f28c1f16)
- When I try to add estellediaromi.com as a custom domain, I get the error: “estellediaromi.com or one of its subdomains is already managed by Netlify DNS on another team.”
- Confirmed via the Netlify API which returns: “custom_domain: is owned by another account”
- The domain nameservers have already been changed at Namecheap from Netlify Custom DNS to Namecheap BasicDNS — fully propagated globally (verified via dnschecker.org)
- I only have one Netlify team (estellediaromi-ld7avxg) and there are no DNS zones listed under it
The DNS zone appears to be orphaned from a previous Netlify account/team that is no longer accessible.
Could you please delete or release the Netlify DNS zone for estellediaromi.com so I can add it to my current site?
