Domain/DNS issue — chinavillage.co.ke locked to inaccessible Netlify account
Hi Netlify Support Team,
I am trying to connect my domain to my current Netlify project, but Netlify displays this error:
“chinavillage.co.ke or one of its subdomains is already managed by Netlify DNS on another team.”
The domain was connected to an old Netlify account around 1 August 2026. I no longer have access to the email address used for that account and cannot remember the old project name.

The domain previously used Netlify nameservers belonging to the inaccessible account. I have now regained DNS control through HOSTAFRICA and changed to the following nameservers:

However, Netlify still says the domain is managed by another team.
Please provide the required TXT ownership-verification record. I can add it through HOSTAFRICA. After verification, please release the domain and its old Netlify DNS-zone association so I can connect it to my current project.
If possible, please also provide a masked version of the email address belonging to the inaccessible account. This may help me recognize the forgotten email and recover the account.
I can provide any additional proof of domain ownership required.
