Domain already managed by Netlify DNS on another team — martinezhesselink.com.ar

Hello,

I’m trying to add my custom domain martinezhesselink.com.ar to my site/team, but I get the following error:

“martinezhesselink.com.ar or one of its subdomains is already managed by Netlify DNS on another team.”

This domain was previously used on another Netlify team by a third party, who has confirmed they already removed the domain/site from their side. The error persisting suggests an orphaned Netlify DNS zone is still associated with this domain on that old team, and I did not use this domain on any other Netlify site of mine.

I understand I need to verify domain ownership via a TXT record (verified-for-netlify) whose value is a link to this helpdesk case. I’m opening this ticket to get a case number/link so I can create that record at my registrar (DonWeb), and will confirm here once it’s added.

Hi,

I’ve added the TXT verification record as requested:

  • Name/Host: verified-for-netlify.martinezhesselink.com.ar
  • Value: link to this ticker

You should be able to verify it now. Please let me know once the orphaned DNS zone for martinezhesselink.com.ar has been released so I can add the domain to my team.
