Hi, @richardio, and welcome to our Netlify community site.
There is a Netlify DNS configuration for the domain in question here:
The DNS configuration at Netlify isn’t active at this time (the name servers have not been changed to the Netlify servers). Please delete this configuration if you are not going to enable Netlify DNS for this domain name.
Once this is done, the renew certificate button here should work:
If it doesn’t work after deleting the unused Netlify DNS configuration, please let us know.
Thanks for your reply. You’re correct, we are not using Netlify DNS but have a CNAME pointing to the Netlify site. I don’t know how to delete the configuration you refer to?
Thanks,
Richard
All solved - we had the cname pointing to https://ruckwebsite.netlify.com - changed it to ruckwebsite.netlify.com and it cert can be renewed - thanks
Hi @richardio. I show the SSL certificate was updated shortly after this was posted. If there are other questions or concerns, please let us know.
