DNS verification failed for apexcorebuilders.com

Hello Netlify Support Team,

My custom domain apexcorebuilders.com has been correctly configured for more than 24 hours, but it’s still showing the message:

“DNS verification failed — apexcorebuilders.com doesn’t appear to be served by Netlify.”

Here are my current DNS records on Cloudflare (DNS only mode):

Type Name Content Proxy status
A apexcorebuilders.com 99.83.190.102 DNS only
CNAME www lively-gaufre-e45263.netlify.app DNS only
CNAME _acme-challenge verify.netlify.com DNS only
  • Cloudflare nameservers: cosmin.ns.cloudflare.com, rosalyn.ns.cloudflare.com

  • The site is hosted under: lively-gaufre-e45263.netlify.app

  • The domain has been added to Netlify under Domain management → apexcorebuilders.com

  • Cache on Cloudflare has been purged (“Purge Everything”)

  • DNS propagation verified globally

Could you please manually recheck or force the verification and Let’s Encrypt certificate issuance?

Thank you!
— Vladimir Fonseca / ApexCore Builders LLCwer.

Hi!

Try setting all your Cloudflare DNS records to DNS only. Then, in Netlify, remove the domain and add it back, that usually forces a fresh verification and SSL check. After that, click Provision certificate again.

Hey there, it looks like your DNS setup is mostly correct. However, the _acme-challenge record shouldn’t point to verify.netlify.com — that’s not required for automatic verification. Try removing that record, then delete and re-add the domain in your Netlify Domain settings. Netlify should handle DNS verification and SSL automatically once the A and CNAME records propagate.
