Configuring DNS for my custom domain

Hi guys

Yesterday I transfer my domain to Ionos but I have some problem connect it to Netlify.
I’ve tried configure using external DNS and keep my DNS in my provider instead of using Netlify DNS.
So I followed the documentation and I created a new A record with IP address: 104.198.14.52

But well, althoughty it works (my domain finally connect with Netlify) the register show that I am using Netlify DNS

My name server is the provider default.

So guys, hope you can help me, I don’t know if I configured correctly my custom domain.
Any advice will be welcome.

Hi @hanu! Welcome to netlify community.

We just got that fixed for you. We deleted the DNS zone you created, since you aren’t using Netlify’s name servers. Let us know if things still aren’t working as expected for you.

And to be on the safe side, we recommend using a CNAME record for your www domain, instead of an A record like you currently have. This post explains it: [Support Guide] Can I host my site on Netlify but keep my DNS at my domain registrar?
