Cloudflare is currently unable to resolve your requested domain

we need to know your netlify site name. Example: gifted-antelope-58b104.netlify.app

DNS issues? Tell us the custom domain, tell us the error message! We can’t help if we don’t know your domain.

  • The custom domain is gab.blast.video but the same error happens for health.blast.video and ok.blast.video
  • gab.blast.video is CNAME pointed to gab-blast-video.onrender.com
  • When the url is resolve there is an error 1001:
    Cloudflare says:

Error 1001

DNS resolution error

What happened?

You’ve requested a page on a website (gab.blast.video) that is on the Cloudflare network. Cloudflare is currently unable to resolve your requested domain (gab.blast.video). There are two potential causes of this:

  • Most likely: if the owner just signed up for Cloudflare it can take a few minutes for the website’s information to be distributed to our global network.
  • Less likely: something is wrong with this site’s configuration. Usually this happens when accounts have been signed up with a partner organization (e.g., a hosting provider) and the provider’s DNS fails.

Welcome to the forums @zackees

I’m not entirely sure where Netlify comes into this other than you have the site blastvideo.netlify.app

This is correct. gab-blast-video.onrender.com appears to point to the Cloudflare CDN—not hosted on Netlify.

This looks like an issue more suited to the Cloudflare Community.

If you are wanting gab.blast.video to load blastvideo.netlify.app you will need to configure the CNAME as per this documentation and not have it pointing to gab-blast-video.onrender.com
