I recently came across news about a Netlify user being charged over $100k due to a DDoS attack on their site. The fee was waived after public backlash. If my site (under the free tier) were to experience a DDoS attack, would any excessive charges related to bandwidth usage also be waived for my account?

I believe they’re working on some kind of additional controls, but no details have been released.
