Certificate renewal - mydomain.com doesn't appear to be served by Netlify

Hello! I’m receiving an error message in the domains panel stating “gabrielgusso.com doesn’t appear to be served by Netlify. We can’t renew your Let’s Encrypt certificate automatically until the issue is resolved.”

My domain (gabrielgusso.com) is registered with Google Domains as the registrar. I’ve already configured the custom name servers as shown in the image:

Netlify’s UI indicates that its DNS is serving the domains (there’s a ** :white_check_mark:Netlify DNS** checkmark next to all my custom domains).

Considering that this setup was done almost two months ago, I believe sufficient time has passed for propagation. What am I missing?

Hi, @g-pg . That error message isn’t a current error. It is the last error that occurred but it didn’t occur recently.

You can safely ignore that error. The SSL is configured correctly.

Hey @luke . Thanks!

Just to clarify: the message will persist even if I try to renew the certificate through the UI?

I just wanna make sure I won’t be caught off guard by the expiration date.

hello @g-pg - Unfortunately, our UI does not clear out that message once it is encountered. I have forced it to refresh and now the error message is gone. You would not have encountered any issues when you went to renew your certificate again in a month, however, I can definitely see how that would have been misleading and worrisome.
