Netlify site name: friendly-pudding-da161f.netlify.app
Custom domain: carmashift.com
Error message: “We could not provision a Let’s Encrypt certificate for your custom domain.”
What I’ve already tried:
- DNS verification succeeds every time — both
carmashift.comandwww.carmashift.comshow green checkmarks with “Netlify DNS” confirmed in Domain management - Using Netlify DNS (nameservers pointed from Namecheap to Netlify’s dns1-4.p04.nsone.net)
- Clicking “Provision certificate” fails immediately every time with the same generic error, despite DNS showing as fully verified
- Ran Let’s Debug (letsdebug.net) on carmashift.com per troubleshooting guide — result was “All OK!” with no CAA, DNSSEC, or AAAA record issues found
- Fully removed the domain from Domain management and re-added it from scratch — same error persists
- This has been occurring consistently across multiple days
Question: Since DNS verification and Let’s Debug both confirm clean configuration, can someone check the backend certificate issuance status for this domain?
