Can't verify DNS or get SSL cert on my second website

Hey guys, I’m having a lot of trouble getting my DNS records verified for the following site:

  • Site Name: cleanhavenau.netlify.app
  • Custom Domain: cleanhaven.au
  • Error messages: DNS verification failed cleanhaven.au doesn’t appear to be served by Netlify
  • We could not provision a Let’s Encrypt certificate for your custom domain. Please read our troubleshooting guide for some tips on what might be happening.

I have another site which works perfectly fine and was set up on the same day I added nameservers to squarespace.

I can’t find much relevance in the support forum because I believe I’ve done everything correctly the same way as my working domain. I purchased both domains off of squarespace, and for some reason my “cleanhaven.au” domain has heaps of DNS records (in squarespace): It has four A records, two CNAMEs, a HTTPS, and three TXTs, while “pmptai.com” only has one A record and two CNAMEs.

I have added all of my nameservers the same way, and cleanhaven was up for nearly 72 hours before I deleted the DNS record from netlify and restarted.

This time I have added all of those DNS records from squarespace over to netlify in hopes to fix it, but this wasn’t an informed decision.

I would upload screenshots but the loading percentage isn’t moving. If you need anything specific I will upload at a later time on request.

Anyone got a fix? Cheers.

Thanks for reaching out and welcome to Netlify’s Support Forums.

The difference I see between the two sites/domains is that for the cleanhaven.au domain, you’ve configured multiple A Records pointing to IP addresses outside of Netlify. You’ll want to remove those A records that were created for cleanhaven.au and the CNAME Record created for www.cleanhaven.au. After removing those records, please update this post and we’ll check.
