Can't sign in to netlify cli

I input netlify init into my terminal and was going through the process of creating a new site (itsjoshthedeveloper-githubfinderv2.netlify.app). It then asked Netlify CLI needs access to your GitHub account to configure Webhooks and Deploy Keys. What would you like to do?, so I chose Authorize with GitHub through app.netlify.com. After this, it redirected me to https://app.netlify.com/cli and prompted me to Choose a Git provider. I chose GitHub which opens a new window, and I logged in. Then the window said authorized. When I closed the window, the following alert appeared.

I tried again many times but to no avail. What can I do?

Hi, @itsjoshthedeveloper. Would you please confirm the following two details?

  • the email address set as primary at GitHub
  • the username at GitHub

You can private message (PM) that to one of our support staff and I’ve confirmed that PMs are enabled for your community login. Note, that only one person can see the PM and this will likely mean a slower reply than posting the information publicly. Please feel free to reply to however you prefer though.
