Can't login to Netlify

I can’t login to netlify. This is an urgent matter as Netlify is hosting my DNS.

When I try with email/password, Netlify says there was an error and to try again. When I try to login with GitHub, there is a certificate error at https://api.netlify.com which is preventing me from continuing.

I contacted support 8 hours ago but I have yet to receive a response.

Anyone else having this issue?

Hi, @jeffkershner. In most cases, this is being caused by local anti-virus or firewall rules at an ISP. The anti-virus or ISP hijacks the DNS lookup and returns a wrong IP address. This IP address then won’t have a working SSL certificate and that results in the error. We can confirm this if you tell us the IP address returning the incorrect SSL certificate.

The solution for this differs depending on the cause. If it is anti-virus, then make an exceptions for both app.netlify.com and api.netlify.com. If it is the ISP cause this, then the solution is to contact the technical support for the ISP.

If there are other questions or concerns, please let us know.

It started working 10 min ago so the issue is resolved. I didn’t change anything though.
