Can't get the Visual Editor to work with my Jekyll Blog

Hello,

I have been using Netlify for years and am migrating my WordPress site to Jekyll.

I have my own “theme”. It’s pretty simple, but it works for me. I’m only using one plugin. (Page Preveios and next).

It’s just me, and I figured I’d do the “pay as you go thing”. The problem is I can’t get the visual editor.

When the editor fails, I am prompted to look at the visual editor’s logs. However, they do not display themselves.

My current test site is madtinker.netlify.app

My DNS is currently pointing directly to github pages until I can work this out.

I use this blog for educational services. But I need to be able to use the visual editor to make edits so my students can see changes to instructional material quickly. (I’m a college professor)

I’ve tried everything. I just need something reliable. Any help would be appreciated.

I use the Mac GitHub client to edit now (with Sublime); I don’t publish my site locally.

Best,

Nick
