Hi Netlify Support,
I’m having trouble getting SSL/HTTPS to work for my custom domain. Here are the details:
Netlify site name: flourishing-kelpie-5d4d95Custom domain: chadbelt.com Registrar: GoDaddyDNS setup:
A @ 75.2.60.5
A @ 99.83.190.102
CNAME www flourishing-kelpie-5d4d95.netlify.app
No forwarding or masking enabled No AAAA records No TXT verification requested by Netlify HTTP works: http://chadbelt.com loads my Netlify siteHTTPS fails: https://chadbelt.com gives ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERRORNetlify dashboard says: chadbelt.com doesn’t appear to be served by Netlify. We can’t renew your Let’s Encrypt certificate automatically until the issue is resolved.”
I have tried removing and re-adding the domain in Netlify, and have waited several hours for DNS propagation.

@ChadB You’ve input incorrect DNS records.
Delete the 99.83.190.102 record.
The IP address you mention, 99.83.190.102, is incorrect. You’ll want to remove any A record pointing to that address.
You almost certainly used an “AI”.
Hi, @Antony_RObinson . Would you please confirm which chat bot provided the IP address 99.83.190.102? I ask because that is not a correct IP address for Netlify.
Other have reported that this is information ChatGTP is providing. Is that where you were told that 99.83.190.102 was the IP address to use?
Please delete the A record for 99.83.190.102. That should resolve the issue but if not, please let us know with a reply here.
The Netlify documentation never mentions 99.83.190.102.
