Branch subdomains not available in list

How I got here

  • The AI assistant seems to have an outdated understanding of where things are on the site.
  • The form at https://www.netlify.com/support#contact said “Oops! Looks like something went wrong. Please e-mail us at support@netlify.com”.
  • I emailed support@netlify.com and it auto-closed the ticket. I didn’t read the full email but maybe there’s no customer support for free account.

Subdomain problem

I’ve added the branch name here: https://app.netlify.com/sites/boring-mestorf-33ae13/configuration/deploys#branches-and-deploy-contexts

But I don’t see it in the dropdown when I click the add button: https://app.netlify.com/sites/boring-mestorf-33ae13/configuration/deploys#branches-and-deploy-contexts

You need to deploy the branch before the subdomain is available to use.

Thanks for the reply. It looks like the site re-deployed earlier when I pushed a new branch to the repository. Anyways, I triggered a new deploy and still don’t see it in that list

I think I figured it out: didn’t have a netlify.toml file so it wasn’t deploying
