I have the domain name lp.gp and I have set it up with Netlify. The Netlify domain is lpgp.netlify.app. I registered the domain with Netim and have now completed the change of nameservers to Netlify’s nameservers, and I can see it has been 48 hours and it has fully propagated.
However, while www.lp.gp is showing as completed with Netlify DNS, the primary domain lp.gp is showing “Awaiting Netlify DNS,” which means that I cannot get the SSL certificate issued (and therefore the site doesn’t load in the browser / shows as “dangerous”).
This is from the domain registrar Netim where I first registered the domain. I copied all existing records into Netlify before I changed the nameservers. Should I delete this A record? Now that I have changed the nameservers I cannot make any DNS changes in Netim, so am I able to delete the record in Netlify?
I deleted it an hour ago when I received your comment, but it is still saying “Awaiting Netlify DNS.” How long should it approximately take to start working? Thank you for your help!
