Authentication Error?

I just learned about this website. I am trying to deploy a game I made. This site seems great for it, but I can’t signup/login. I’m trying to login using GitHub and I keep getting an authentication error saying we already have a registered user with this email and to login to connect GitHub account. I have done the stripe ID verification and waited over 10 minutes and still nothing. I can’t login with regular email either because there’s no registered user with the email, but if I click signup, it says instructions on how to verify were sent to my email, but I haven’t gotten any new emails and all the verification emails I already got I followed and verified. I just want to be able to login using GitHub, use my code from GitHub, and deploy my website game. Thank you.

Hi @mdeluca3682 :wave:t6: welcome to the Netlify community! This happens from time to time. Please follow these instructions to refresh your Github SSO:

  1. Login to Netlify using the email address and password only.
  • If you do not have a password configured, you can add one by using the password reset form: Netlify App
  1. Once logged into Netlify with the email address and password, then change the GitHub account associated with this email address here: Netlify App
  2. Log out of Netlify.

Once this is done, you should be able to log into Netlify using GitHub or the email address. Both methods of login should work now. If they do not or if there are any other questions, please let us know.
