Account Suspension Appeal - (After accepting invite)

Dear Netlify Support Team,

I hope this message finds you well. My name is Nasirullah Oladipo, and I received an invitation to join my organization on Netlify 26th of September this year using my work email. However, I am currently facing significant challenges accessing my account due to an unexpected suspension.

Upon clicking the invitation link and attempting to sign in with my GitHub account, I was redirected to a page prompting me to sign in with my email and link my GitHub account. Following these steps, I was met with a message indicating that my account had been suspended due to suspicious activity. The message further instructed me to verify my identity by clicking on a link sent to my email address specifying my work email address. Unfortunately, I never received such an email to initiate the verification process.

Despite this, I proceeded with the manual verification process by filling out the provided form. Regrettably, the response I received appeared to be automated and lacked specific details. The message stated that my account had been flagged due to an increased potential for fraudulent behavior. However, no additional reasoning or review details were provided, leaving me with a limited understanding of the situation.

This suspension is impacting my ability to contribute effectively to our organization’s projects. Specifically, it hinders the generation of deploy previews for my Pull Requests and complicates troubleshooting build failures, affecting the overall development workflow. This prompted another invite by an admin of the organization 4 days ago, but the whole scenario still played out again.

I understand the importance of security measures, and I am fully committed to resolving any concerns regarding my account. I kindly request a thorough review of my case, providing specific details on the alleged suspicious activity and steps for resolution. If there are any additional verification steps required, I am more than willing to cooperate to reinstate my account promptly.

I appreciate your prompt attention to this matter and look forward to a resolution that allows me to resume my contributions to our organization’s projects.

Hi, this is likely because you cannot have two accounts on our system. That’s not how our platform is intended to be used. Is there a specific reason why you need two accounts? Your company add a seat for you.

Yes the company invited me via my work email, and my github account was on a totally different email as well. But with this do you mean changing the email on initial account from to the work email is the only way forward?

No, I’m just saying you cannot have two accounts on our platform. If you’d like we can enable your account with your work email below, but I can disable your current account.

Or you can change the email your are enabled with here in the user settings. You will then need to verify this with your work email.

Okay, I would prefer the former, which is disabling my current account but enabling my work email.
