I can’t see that you can add a WR (Web redirect record) record on Netlify. Is there a reason for this?
Basically I want to redirect a url to to a subdomain: cv.hostname.com
WR is not listed on the IANA Domain Name System (DNS) Parameters page which suggests is not part of the official standard and the only real reference I can find to this type of record is from ClouDNS.
Redirecting a path to another domain is possible with redirects
