URGENT: Domain stuck on deleted account (Netlify 404)"

Hi Netlify Support Team,

I urgently need help releasing a custom domain. I recently closed down an old account but forgot to manually delete the custom domain flamekabob.com from the system before doing so.

The domain’s nameservers have already been switched away from Netlify to Cloudflare, but Netlify’s Anycast routing is still intercepting the traffic and displaying a Netlify 404 page (Internal ID from the error page: 01KRWEVSPN1PGF07NM6J1CJPT6).

This is a critical client production site that is currently completely down. Could an admin please manually purge the DNS zone and release flamekabob.com from the system? Thank you so much.

I have already added the verified-for-netlify TXT record to my DNS pointing to this thread to verify ownership

Update: I was able to bypass the routing lock by deploying directly via Cloudflare Workers Custom Domains, so the live site is operational again. However, please still proceed with completely purging flamekabob.com and its associated DNS zones from Netlify’s system so the domain is entirely detached from the deleted account. Thank you!
