Hello Netlify Support,
I am a new user and accidentally triggered the forum’s automated spam filter when trying to post this earlier because it contained a domain format.
I am trying to link my custom domain to my new Netlify project, but it is currently trapped. Before deleting my previous Netlify account, I inadvertently left the domain attached to it. Now, I receive an error stating that the domain is already in use.
Here are my project details (formatted to avoid the spam filter):
- Custom Domain: somalicorner (dot) com
- New Netlify App Name: somali-corner
I own this domain via Squarespace and have already configured the verification TXT record in my DNS settings:
- Host / Name: _netlify
- Value: somali-corner.netlify.app
Could a support team member please manually release this domain from the deleted account so I can link it to my active site?
