Unable to add TXT to DNS configuration

My netlify site is alvarotheotonio.netlify.app. Subdomains:

    • alvarotheotonio.netlify.app/about_me
    • alvarotheotonio.netlify.app/contact
    • alvarotheotonio.netlify.app/blog
  • I’m trying to enter into the DNS configuration to add the TXT from Google Search Console but I can’t get in. The error message is “A DNS zone for this domain already exists under a different account”

I’ve just created the website and this is the only account I own. Can you help me?

Hi, @NiveasComomedes. You cannot make TXT records under any the netlify.app domain. You will need to purchase a domain if you want to make TXT records.

The domain can be purchased from any registrar. You can also register a domain using Netlify directly but that is optional and not a requirement.
