I have a problem with SSL for my website without www on the front. It works correctly with www. I contacted godaddy and I’ve been told something need to be set up on Netlify side?

I didnt try, buy I have external SSL with godaddy. Should I still try it?
I would still use LetsEncrypt SSL with Netlify.
