One of my sites (ddsdressing.com/ dddressing.netlify.app) suddenly had a spike in calls to the Astro SSR function with the latest spike of calls happening on the 5th May and a constantly high amount per day this month. As much as I would like to think that the calls related to extra traffic it doesn’t look likely. Any idea what could be causing this? Unfortunately I can’t currently afford the bump to functions level 1.

Thanks for your patience here! I do see that you had a spike in web requests from September 1st - 3rd on dddressing. It looks like a large amount of these requests resulted in a 404. These 404 responses do unfortunately consume function requests, thus the increase in function invocations you’re seeing for this billing period. It looks like this was an anomalous spike and doesn’t represent your usual traffic pattern. I see you have a few more days in this billing cycle and you’re close to surpassing the function limit for your plan. If you do end up exceeding the limit, feel free to reach back out and we can waive that charge as a one-time courtesy.
