SSL_ERROR_BAD_CERT_DOMAIN after Netlify DNS config

Hello,
I have just setup my custom domain: whance.app using Netlify DNS , that is configured for gleeful-donut-xxxx.
It has been around 5 hours now that the DNS config was made: I have entered the 4 custom DNS servers of Netlify in OVH where I have the domain.

Now, when I ping womenhance.app, the request doesn’t pass through.
In Firefox, I also have the error : SSL_ERROR_BAD_CERT_DOMAIN ( Firefox does not trust this site because it uses a certificate that is not valid for whance.app. The certificate is only valid for the following names: *.netlify.app, netlify.app).

Could you assist with this please?

PLEASE help us help you by writing a good post!

  • We need to know your netlify site name. Example: gifted-antelope-58b104.netlify.app
  • DNS issues? Tell us the custom domain, tell us the error message! We can’t help if we don’t know your domain.
  • Build problems? Link or paste the FULL build log & build settings screenshot

Hi @WHance,

Thanks for reaching out and welcome to Netlify’s Support Forums!

I went to the site to try and reproduce the issue, but it looks like it’s resolved as the SSL Certificate is on the site. I’m also showing that DNS is configured correctly with Netlify’s name servers.

Are you still having issues? If so, could you let us know, is it only happening from a specific network/browser (I did test with Google Chrome, Explorer and Firefox)?

Thank you, it is resolved now !

awesome! thanks for writing in and sharing your issue was resolved.
