Hi there,
My site comebackhospitality.com (project: shiny-kangaroo-c826b8) has had an expired Let’s Encrypt certificate since June 17. The certificate is configured to cover both comebackhospitality.com and the wildcard *.comebackhospitality.com, but I don’t use the wildcard, subdomains, or Automatic Deploy Subdomains (which I can see is locked to paid plans on my account anyway).
The dashboard shows this error:
SniCertificate:![]()
My DNS is hosted externally at Namecheap (not Netlify DNS), so I can’t add the dynamic ACME DNS-01 TXT challenge record the wildcard validation needs. I already found and removed a stale conflicting DNS record (a leftover URL Redirect Record) that was breaking the base domain’s own validation, and comebackhospitality.com and www.comebackhospitality.com both now correctly resolve and show green “Netlify DNS” status in the dashboard. I also tried removing and re-adding the custom domain to the project, but the certificate retained the same wildcard configuration.
Could you please reissue the Let’s Encrypt certificate for this project covering only comebackhospitality.com and www.comebackhospitality.com, without the wildcard? That should let it validate normally over HTTP.
Thanks,
Adam
