Title: SSL certificate not provisioning despite successful DNS verification

Hello,

I am having trouble provisioning a Let’s Encrypt SSL certificate for my custom domain.

Domain: xn–sim-5t0h90w.jp
www: www.xn–sim-5t0h90w.jp
Netlify site: rikasim.netlify.app

I am using Netlify DNS.

I have already confirmed the following:

  • The domain’s nameservers are correctly set to the four nameservers provided by Netlify:

  • Both the apex domain and www are configured as NETLIFY records pointing to rikasim.netlify.app.

  • Netlify shows “DNS verification was successful”.

  • I tested xn–sim-5t0h90w.jp with Let’s Debug using HTTP-01, and the result was “All OK!”.

  • I also tested www.xn–sim-5t0h90w.jp, and the result was “All OK!”.

  • However, the SSL/TLS certificate has still not been provisioned, and Netlify continues to show “Waiting on DNS propagation” at times.

Could you please check the SSL certificate provisioning status on the Netlify side and let me know if there is anything preventing the certificate from being issued?

I have completed further diagnostics for my custom domain:

xn–sim-5t0h90w.jp
www.xn–sim-5t0h90w.jp

Current status:

  • Netlify DNS verification: successful
  • NS propagation: complete
  • No AAAA records
  • No CAA restrictions
  • No DS/DNSSEC records
  • Let’s Debug HTTP-01 for xn–sim-5t0h90w.jp: All OK
  • Let’s Debug HTTP-01 for www.xn–sim-5t0h90w.jp: All OK

However, the SSL/TLS section is still stuck at “DNS verification was successful” and the Let’s Encrypt certificate has not been provisioned.

Could you please check the certificate provisioning state on the Netlify backend and manually reset or trigger the Let’s Encrypt certificate provisioning if necessary?

Hello,
My SSL certificate is still stuck on “Waiting on DNS propagation.”
DNS verification has already succeeded, and external DNS checks appear normal.

Could someone from Netlify please check whether there is an issue with SSL provisioning or DNS synchronization on the Netlify side?

The issue is still continuing as of August 23, 2026.
