SSL certificate issued but not serving — ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR on custom domain

Site: animated-gaufre-0d4167

Custom domain: data.uppermiddle.news

Problem: ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR. Certificate shows as “issued” (expires May 28)

but edge servers won’t serve it. Tried renewing certificate and removing/re-adding

the domain no change. CNAME to animated-gaufre-0d4167.netlify.app is correct.

The .netlify.app default domain works fine.
