Request to release krishnakumar.tech from another team

Hi Netlify Support,

I am trying to add my domain “krishnakumar.tech” to my team site, but I am receiving the error: "krishnakumar.tech or one of its subdomains is already managed by Netlify DNS on another team."

I purchased this domain and have full control over its DNS records. To verify my ownership, I have added a TXT record:

  • Host: verified-for-netlify
  • Value: verification-krishna-2026-KriShnAQWErty

Could you please verify this record and release the domain from the other account so I can add it to my site?

@Krishnaqwerty I cannot assist you, I don’t work for Netlify, and I never have.

It looks like @charlottechhum does work for Netlify but is very inactive on the forum:

If you still haven’t heard from Netlify, send them a message via their Support page:

Based on the number of unanswered threads on the Forum, I don’t believe they even provide support here anymore.

I tried reaching them through various channels but still they have not responded yet and it’s already 6th day.

Meanwhile I’m over here getting impatient after 25 hours. Rookie numbers, apparently. :laughing:

@xtnefort From what I can see, I wouldn’t expect to be answered on the forum.

Some time ago they switched to a system where they used a “Status Bot” to automatically close and hide threads after an approx 24 hour wait period. It would also convert them into a “Ticket” for their ticketing system (as per Netlify Support).

At that point contacting them on the Forum became a strictly worse option, you were only unknowingly introducing an additional 24 hour delay to getting assistance.

I have slightly elevated privileges on the forum, and I can see that the “Status Bot” stopped doing its job around 22 days ago:

Basically every thread for the last 22 days has no response.

What is curious to me, is:

  • If the support requests are even real or just AI generated junk
    (most of them read like AI)
  • If the users are getting answers via some other means
    (which is why they aren’t complaining of the lack of support)
