Post created - published - on github - don't show up in generated site

I also posted this on Netlify CMS github : post created - published - on github - don't show up in generated site · Issue #4093 · netlify/netlify-cms · GitHub
Since I don’t know where the issue is related to.

While setting up a site and testing post through Netlify CMS, I already notices a few times that post don’t show up.

I posted on mondayevening a post through cms

(see below the build log)

currently I don’t know where to start, looking for an anwser or where to best file a bug, since I don’t see to what it’s related.

thanks in advance

Hey @joachimVdH,
Here are my two guesses:

  1. : in the title won’t work in production; try removing and see if that fixes things for you?
  2. You’re missing some required parameters (this seems less likely to me but worth testing!):

Successful:

Unsuccessful:

Please let us know how it goes!

Hi @jen ,
thanks for your reply.
When I remove the : from the title it build and deployed succesfull.

So I want to test another post to see the throughput time.
no succes.

this time no : in the title ,well a : in the body.
no succes, even after trigger deploy : clean cache and deploy site
post :

I changed the : in the message - automatic deploy happened - still no post on the site

I’m looking into this - creating a post through netlify CMS - and how long it takes to publish.
But currently this does not happen.
I want to use this setup with friends who does not code or know github.

thanks in advance

I wonder if this is a Jekyll issue? Because you built the file and the syntax was incorrect, perhaps it never populated your nieuws (blog).

I wonder what happens if you add auto-regeneration configuration (regenerate: true) to your blog and home layouts?

I solved it to not using the Netlify CMS. Embeded an airtable, for the simple use case I had
