Please reset TLS/SSL state – “certificate parameter is required when updating an existing certificate”

Hi Netlify Support,

I’m having trouble provisioning a Let’s Encrypt certificate for my site.

  • Netlify site name: nicsilver.netlify.app

  • Custom domain: nicsilver.com (using Netlify DNS and Netlify nameservers)

DNS looks correct in the Netlify dashboard:

When I go to Site configuration → Domain management → HTTPS and click “Provision certificate”, I immediately see this error in a popup:

certificate parameter is required when updating an existing certificate

It never starts provisioning and the site stays without an SSL certificate.

From the Netlify support guides and other threads, it seems my site’s TLS/SSL provisioning state might be stuck or corrupted.

Could you please:

  1. Reset/clear the TLS/SSL provisioning state for this site and domain, and

  2. Trigger a fresh Let’s Encrypt certificate for nicsilver.com and www.nicsilver.com?

I’ve attached screenshots of my DNS records and the HTTPS error dialog for reference.

Thank you!
