After the Netlify Identity Widget was configured, the sign-up confirmation email is triggered . But on click of link , the home page gets loaded with the URL with confirmation token . But nothing happens afterwards.

After wards when try to log in, it doesnt validate .

It doesn’t look like you have netlify-identity-widget added to your main page. This will prevent you from verifying your identity accounts. You can add the widget by adding the following to the section of your main page:
