NETLIFY DNS records are not removed even after removing from the site

Hi,

I want following 2 NETLIFY DNS records to be removed as I want to move the site to an IP address

  1. Name freshreview.co Type NETLIFY Value freshreview.netlify.com
  2. Name www.freshreview.co Type NETLIFY Value freshreview.netlify.com

I am unable to do it from the web interface… it says you cant edit them

If possible please link both of them to 35.225.63.94 ip address

We just got those two DNS records removed for you.

You should now be able to add the new records.

Hi @laura and @luke. I’ve got a similar issue, with some of my domains.

I have switched it from spectacles.dev to docs.spectacles.dev but the existing NETLIFY records have stayed and I am not able to delete them. Consequently, I’m not able to set up new A records to direct the root domain elsewhere.

Would it be possible to get the records deleted? Is there additional information you would require?

hi DylanBaker, we have pulled a lever on our end that now allows you to delete those records through the UI yourself. Let me know if you need further assistance.
