Need the SOC2 report to keep using Netlify

Netlify support community,

I lead marketing at a startup security training and phishing simulations company called Adaptive Security. Our current website is based on Webflow, which has some limitations. I built a simple Netlify deployment to improve some of Webflow’s native form capabilities with ReCaptcha V3 and was impressed.

Unfortunately, since we are in cybersecurity and currently undergoing an audit we need all of our vendors to have SOC2 documentation. Without this, I will need to shelve the deployment I built and churn off the simple pro account I have now.

My hope was to build lots more creative marketing augmentation through Netlify, and potentially move all our forms to Netlify in the short term. Longer term, Im sure there are lots of opportunities for projects.

The BDR assigned to handle my account, and your support team, refuse to provide the SOC2 document unless we pay for enterprise. Not only is this highly unusual (all of our 50+ other software vendors have been able to provide us this document regardless of our customer tier), it also means I will have to churn off Netlify and will be unlikley to return or ever recommend this service to a peer.

Let me know if there is anything that can be done about this.

@jpt7698 This is in alignment with Netlify’s published information seen on this page:

Enterprise customers can access detailed audit reports, including our SOC 2 Type 2 attestation, in the Trust Center, while all customers can view our ISO 27001 Certificate online.

It’s obviously not beneficial to what you want, but it’s also not changed for many years, see:
