Issue with access NS1 Support

I have a issue with adding domains to Netlify DNS.

Domain name is apiterapihaber.com

When I’m trying to add these domains to Netlify DNS it gives A DNS zone for this domain already exists on NS1, the DNS provider backing Netlify DNS
Please contact NS1 with the domain name for support.

I tried to contact NS1 but their support has been moved to IBM Support system and I can’t open support ticket in there because they want customer id and to have that I need to be a part of organization.

I will appreciate if you could assistance with how should i proceed.

Hi @luke, If I will do it, there will be SSL issue which I have to handle. Isn’t it ?

SSL is provided for custom domains whether they are using Netlify DNS or external DNS @samilalgul.

Still I want to use Netlify DNS @dig

Netlify Support has recommended external DNS @samilalgul.

A question though:

I see apiterapihaber.com has the following name servers

$ whois apiterapihaber.com | grep 'Name Server'
   Name Server: DNS1.P03.NSONE.NET
   Name Server: DNS2.P03.NSONE.NET
   Name Server: DNS3.P03.NSONE.NET
   Name Server: DNS4.P03.NSONE.NET

Did you set these prior to attempting to add the domain to Netlify DNS?

While adding a domain to Netlify DNS, name servers are provided. You can’t just add whatever name servers you may find listed elsewhere.

It was taken from Netlify. I’m experienced with the issue. I done that before but some reasons I had to remove and readd. I forgot to remove DNS configuration at registrars platform. If these conditions are met then IBM will add domain to parking lot so domain will be blocked.

You will need to follow Luke’s recommendation and use external DNS configuration.
