Hi Netlify Support Team,

I’m experiencing an issue when trying to add my custom domain ddreams3d.com to my Netlify site. I receive the error message: “Another site is using this domain.”

I believe the domain might have been previously connected to another Netlify account, but I’m not sure which account or project it is associated with. I own the domain and manage it through NameCheap. I would like to verify my ownership of the domain so it can be released and added to my current site.

I have already configured the following DNS records to point to Netlify:

  • A Record (Root Domain):
    • @ → 75.2.60.5
    • @ → 75.2.123.9
  • CNAME Record (www):
    • www → ddreams3d.netlify.app

If needed, I can also create a TXT record for domain verification. Please let me know the specific value you require for the verification, and I will add it immediately.

Here are the details of my Netlify site:

  • Site Name: (Your Netlify site name)
  • API ID: (Your site’s API ID, which can be found in Site Settings → General → Site Information)
