@razonyang Great question.
I was going to point to the blog article at:
https://www.netlify.com/blog/introducing-netlify-image-cdn-beta/
Which previously said:
Free and fair pricing
During the beta period, we’re not charging for the Netlify Image CDN. We do, however, plan to charge for Netlify Image CDN when it becomes generally available. We’ll be sure to communicate timelines clearly and our prices will be fair, including offering a generous free tier.
But it no longer has that message and it redirects to:
https://www.netlify.com/blog/introducing-netlify-image-cdn/
So my guess is that it’s moved out of beta
, but I cannot see anything regarding it on the Pricing page, and searching that page for 'image cdn'
shows no hits.
Thank you for sharing this information.
I’m also trying to find related information, but I haven’t found anything either.
Currently, I’m not sure if this would count towards the bandwidth usage (e.g. 100GB on the starter plan).
It will count in bandwidth. Whenever we release pricing for Image CDN it would be on top of the pricing for bandwidth.
So a single image transformation:
- would count against the Image CDN transformation count
- and also count in your site’s bandwidth for the size of the response that we send
Thank you!
Is subscribing to RSS feeds enough to receive news about image pricing?
It should be. I can’t say for sure as there are currently no discussions on the plan to add pricing or the way it would be communicated. But I believe you would see a notification in the UI at the very least.
