Increase function timeout to 26s

Hi there,

Could you please increase the function timeout for www.strive.pm ?

I’m on pro plan.

Thanks,

Hi @hamishirving,

Thanks for reaching out!

I’ve increased the function timeout to the maximum of 26 seconds for site strive-pm. You’ll need to redeploy the site for the change to take effect.

Hi Support Team,

We have subscribed for Pro Plan in app.netlify.com

I am running my frontend with vueJs in app.netlify.com and backend which is in Laravel with Linode server.

I am facing an issue while download the file from Frontend to backend via API with blob response. I can download the file with 2-3 MB filesize but when I try to download large file frontend is giving an error. so can you please increase the timeout value with higher values. because I need to download files up to 500 MB.

Please let me know once you are done with this.

Hi :wave:t6: thanks for reaching out and welcome to the Netlify community. I’m happy to increase your function timeout. Can you please share the site id?

hi, I have increased your function timeout. Please re-deploy to see this take effect. (:

Hi Samo,

Thanks for your response.

Please find the below Site IDs for where I need to increase the function timeout to 5-7 mins, as I mentioned previously we have more than 500-700 MB files.

  1. https://app.notarylab.dev (Site ID: 2bae1178-3fda-4c06-b04a-7d27ea059e4e)
  2. https://app.notary.io (Site ID: 620e0500-34a9-42d8-a200-1d59459f4977)

Please let me know when it’s done so I can review it from my end.

Hi @mishah :wave:t6: thanks for reaching out! I have increased your function timeout to 26s. Unfortunately this is the max set by AWS lambda. If you need more time I recommend you use edge functions.

Hi @rxs,

Thanks for reaching out! I’ve increased the function time limit to 26 seconds (the maximum). For the change to take effect, please re-deploy the site. Thanks!
