I try to buy custom domain (ateksadobella.com) which is available but I get error and just shows red ‘transaction declined’ text. When I check out network I see 422 HTTP CODE.
And response is:
{“success”:false,“error”:“transaction declined”}
How can I fix this?
Hi, @erkkk. The error means that the payment method used isn’t working for some reason. To find out why, please contact the company or organization which issues the card to you.
If you need an immediate solution, one workaround is to register the domain using some other registrar. (Netlify is not a registrar and we are using Name.com’s APIs are a reseller to enable domain registrations at Netlify.)
Once you have registered the domain via a third-party, you can use Netlify DNS or external DNS.
If you use Netlify DNS, the domain will behave identically to one registered using Netlify with a single exception. That exception is that the domain renewals will happen directly using the registrar and not at Netlify.
