I cannot add my domain as it is already managed by netlify dns

but it isn’t, the dns nameservers are not even set to netlify

It was previously managed in, and name servers set to, Netlify DNS servers up until very recently as shown by DNS History

Create a verification TXT record as outlined in the support guide below and Netlify can release the domain so you can add it.
