How do I disable the Identity function?

How do I disable Identity for elixirrichmond.netlify.app? I tested it, but realise I don’t actually need it.

Head to https://app.netlify.com/sites/YOUR_SITE_NAME/settings/identity and scroll to the bottom of the page where you will see a Delete instance button.

I tried that previously but it errored with a message that there were too many requests.
