Explicit form submissions being let through

Hi, I hope this is the right place to report this.

I recently had multiple explicit (profanity, xxx) form submissions come through within a few minutes on a client site that uses Netlify forms. This is not a good look as they go straight to the client’s email.

Could someone take a look and tell me why these weren’t blocked? They were littered with explicit keywords. I just want to make sure there isn’t an issue with Aksimet or anything I need to do on my side to prevent this from happening again.

They came through at ~11pm EST today.

Hey @wjh18,

The only thing you can do is mark those as spam manually which should improve Akismet for future detections. Unfortunately, from time to time, chances are Akismet might miss some emails, and that’s not totally in our control unfortunately.
