{[domain name]} or one of its subdomains is already managed by Netlify DNS on another team

Hi,

  • Netlify site name: https://instinctpump.netlify.app/
  • I am trying to add domain instinctpump.com and getting this error: instinctpump.com or one of its subdomains is already managed by Netlify DNS on another team.
  • I have added the TXT record follow the DNS verification process.
  • Can you please help to delete the DNS on the other team?

Thank you very much

You’ll need to try again, I’m not seeing the required record.

The instructions are here:

The value you would use is:

Any idea why this happens? I did follow the instructions and I added both host name [verified-for-netlify] and [verified-for-netlify.instinctpump.com] just in case Squarespace did not automatically add my domain name after any the host value. Appreciate your help.

You may be setting the DNS records in the wrong spot.
As it’s not just the verified-for-netlify that can’t be seen, but all those other records too.

If you feel you’re setting them in the right place, and that they’re not showing, you’d need to contact the support of whichever provider you’re using to manage the DNS records.

I think I might know where the problem is. The DNS records were managed with a 3rd party nameserver provider before, that’s why the custom DNS records I added didn’t work properly. I just switched back to Squarespace nameservers, it probably takes some time for the setting to take effective. Could you please try again later? Much appreciate your help!

@olivia That’s visible:

Now you just have to wait for Netlify’s staff.
