"Domain already managed by Netlify DNS or another team"

Having issues connecting site to my domain: lukashendriks.xyz

I already used Netlify to launch my website, but recently lost access to my login email. Now, on a different Netlify account, I am trying to connect to my domain, but I get the message :

" lukashendriks.xyz or one of its subdomains is already managed by Netlify DNS on another team."

I tried following the directions on a post with this issue and I did the following in namecheap:

Can someone help me unlink my domain from my old netlify account that I don’t have access to?

Also removed Netlify DNS addresses under “nameservers” to Namecheap BasicDNS and now I’m getting: Error code: SSL_ERROR_INTERNAL_ERROR_ALERT when I try to enter by website.

This is because it is showing a default Namecheap parking page

You are meant to have verified-for-netlify where you currently have the @ and the URL of this thread where you currently have verified-for-netlify.
